What’s intellectual impairment football and futsal?
Football and Futsal for persons with intellectual impairment
Intellectual impairment football and futsal are widespread in Japan due to the country's well-developed network of special needs schools/classes and the fact that football is an official sport at the National Sports Festival for the Disabled, which is held after the National Sports Festival. Many prefectures have started to promote the sport as a result of their hosting of the National Sports Festival for the Disabled. In Japan, there are approximately 5,600 players who enjoy playing according to their own abilities. The rules of the game are exactly the same as those of the IFAB Laws of the Game, but depending on the level of impairment, the game may be played in 30-minute halves. International matches are played in 45-minute halves. There is a lot to see in this game, such as the fierce attacks and the fast dribbling.
