JIFF Financial Support Scheme for Sign Language Interpretation
JIFF provides financial supports for hosts of training courses of coaching/refereeing of association football and futsal so that persons with hearing impairments can access sign language interpretation service and then can easily take these courses.
Previously, as it had been financially difficult for training course hosts to arrange a sign language interpretor, persons with hearing impairments had to do so by themselves, or to take it without interpretation, or untimately, to give it up. We set the scheme in order to reduce such financial burdens from those who aim to take out licenses so that they can take these couses without any inconveniences just like other persons without disabilities.
For creation of a society where everybody, with and without disabilities, can enjoy sports together, we recognise the necessity that persons with disabilities can have opportunities to challenge, not only as a player but as a coach or a referee, as others do. We will continue to promote the use of the scheme.
